Iowa Temporary Sales Tax Permit-
Everyone at the show that is selling a product needs a Retail Sales Tax permit. If you don’t have one, you can use a temporary permit for the show. The form is HERE, you will need to print it out and send it to the Iowa Dept. of Revenue.
Using Social Media to promote the Natural Living Expo.-
Twitter 101
- Hashtag: Use the #NLEIA hashtag on Twitter to mark your tweets about the event! You’ll be able to click on it and see what other people are saying about the Natural Living Expo!
- Retweeting: Follow the @NaturalLivingIA account and retweet the major tweets about the Natural Living Expo and our vendors to your followers.
- Content, content, content: We want a lot of people talking about the Natural Living Expo on Twitter, but we want it to be good information, too! Think about what you can add to the conversation: take a picture with your phone and upload it, share a shopping or parking tip, or say something nice about another vendor booth at the Natural Living Expo.
Facebook 101
- We have created an official Facebook Event for the Natural Living Expo. PLEASE use this event page to invite your friends to the Natural Living Expo and encourage them to share the Event with their friends. Here is the event.
- Suggest and invite: Use the built-in tools on Facebook to invite your Friends to the event and Suggest to Friends for the Natural Living Expo.
- Utilize Tags: Much like Twitter, you can tag pages and events on Facebook. Once you’ve “Liked” Natural Living Productions, start typing the @ symbol followed by “Natural Living Productions” and you’ll be able to choose us from a pop-up menu to tag. You can do the same thing with the Event itself after you’ve RSVP’d.

What are NLE Bucks? Well, we’ve created a simple way for of our vendors to offer special discounts for day of show specials. We hope through this to encourage participants to buy/ make orders at the show ! You can find the Microsoft Word Template here, where you just have to plug in your business name, discount/special and print! We will have a special table out front for the NLE bucks for extra advertising and to add value for our participants.
